This scavenger hunt was originally designed as a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration between The Native Experience, KQED Live, and Mission Loteria, for San Francisco's 175th Birthday (April 15, 2025).

The hunt culminated in a historic panel featuring Henry Weverka (President of Ruth Asawa Lanier Inc.), Lucia Ippolito-Gonzalez (Founder of Lover's Lane and community muralist) and Carlo Arteaga (Co-Executive Director at the Transgender District).

Whether you're visiting the City by the Water for the first time or want to get reacquainted with the place we're lucky to call home, this experience is guaranteed to help you uncover some of the magic that makes this place unlike any other in the world.
